Warm greetings from Mamelani! We hope this newsletter finds you warm, wherever you are in the world. It has been an interesting quarter for the Mamelani team, with visible growth as we implement some changes in our programmes. We need to adapt and change as the context around us changes. This possibility of reinventing oneself was spoken about at the recent Nelson Mandela 10th Annual Address. Mamelani was honoured to be mentioned in Mary Robinson's address, as her son Aubrey was one of Mamelani's founding members back in 2003. Please see her speech here where she speaks critically about where we are as a young democracy and what steps need to be taken to realise the rights of all South Africans.
